WHO ARE YOU?

Hi there! I'm Meredith O'Brien founder and head running coach of the East Coast Run Project. I started running in middle school because track looked fun. I've continued running not only because it is fun but because it's also rewarding on many levels and teaches great life lessons. Along the way I have experienced ups, downs, wins, DNFs and everything in between. From injuries to performance plateaus and major frustrations, I’ve fought through it and learned. Sharing these lessons with others is why I am passionate about helping every athlete run healthy and happy for as long as they want to.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

At East Coast Run Project we build running training plans for runners of all ages and abilities who are dedicated to improving their performance. With an emphasis on finding a customized solution for every individual, ECRP’s purpose is to forge faster, stronger, more efficient running and multisport runners in effective and fun training environments.

From your first 5k to your 25th marathon, our personalized programs use multiple modalities that include running, strength training, nutrition and mobility to help every ECRP athlete become less prone to injury and more successful on the race course.

WHY DO YOU DO IT?

Running is awesome, that’s why. And really, why not? Anyone can be a contender. Whether you’re looking to run your very first mile or qualify for the Boston Marathon, hard work and progress are an amazing reward. There’s nothing quite like seeing someone do better than the last time.

ANYONE?

Yes, anyone. Kids, teens, adults and octogenarians. Runners, soccer players and baseballers. If your sport or spirit makes you move faster than a walk, we’re here. Because where you start doesn’t matter. If you’re ready to work hard and brave the challenges of a training cycle with a little laughter every day, you’re the perfect addition to the team.
